The Thaiand Future Index in 2012 remains the same as 2011 at  90, resulting from better performance in economic and social areas .     However,  the energy and environment area seem to become worse.               

Area(s) with positive changes (+)

  • Economic area:     Improves significantly from an increase in the labor productivity index. 
  • Social area:     Improves a bit from decreased criminal cases of minors and juveniles.                     

Area(s) with negative changes  (-)

  • Energy and enviroment area:     Drops from worse energy intensity and increased organic water pollutants.
